CGPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022: Nationality
The candidate applying for the CGPSC 2022 must be a citizen of India.
CGPSC Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
The minimum age limit for the CGPSC is 21 years.
For the candidates who are not permanent residents of Chhattisgarh

The maximum age limit is 30 years
|
For the candidate who is residents of Chhattisgarh
|
The age relaxation of 5 years for domiciles/residents of Chhattisgarh. The maximum age limit is 35 years

Below is the detailed list of age relaxation for the CGPSC eligibility criteria:

Up to Maximum 5 years | If a candidate is a domicile of a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or OBC as defined by the Chhattisgarh government. |
Up to Maximum 3 years | If a candidate is from India and has moved to one of the following countries:
From Burma after June 1, 1963, or from Sri Lanka after 1964 Alternatively, a candidate who migrated from East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, between January 1, 1964 and March 25, 1971. |
Up to maximum 8 years | If the candidate belongs to (ii) and is a member of a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or OBC as defined by the Chhattisgarh government. |
Up to maximum 5 years | If the applicant applying for the first appointment is a window |
Upto maximum 2 years | If a candidate is a recipient of a Green Card through a family welfare program. |
Upto maximum 5 years | Up to five years If the candidate is one of the partners under the inter-caste marriage scheme of the Harijan, Tribal, and Backward class welfare department, as per GAD Memo no. C-1085, dated 3-9-1985. |
Upto maximum 5 years | If the applicant is or was a sportsperson who has received the Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, Gundhahur Samman, Maharaj Bhanjdev Samman, or other similar awards. |
Upto maximum 5 years | If a candidate has served in the military for at least 5 years. |
Upto Maximum 8 years | If a candidate is running in a specific category. |
Upto maximum 10 years | If a candidate has a physical disability. (Assuming he submits the required credentials.) |

CGPSC Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
The candidate applying for the CGPSC must have a degree from a recognized university under an act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Also, a degree from other Educational institutions under the act of parliament or deemed university is also valid. The candidates whose results have not been declared are also eligible for the examination. Moreover, the candidates having professional and technical knowledge from a recognized university are also eligible for the CGPSC exam.
