Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
Candidates should be citizens of India to be eligible for Karnataka TET. Further, they should be residents of the state of Karnataka.
Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
Educational Eligibility for Paper-I (Class 1-5)
- PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of 2-nd year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Educational Eligibility for Paper-II (Class 6-8)
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- PUC/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and have either passed or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age to be eligible for Karnataka TET. There is relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government norms.
