“DU will not compromise on merit,” Joshi added. We'll adjust to the new scenario and figure out what approach to use. We'll have to wait and see what the criterion is for the boards' student evaluations.”
PC Joshi is a member of the CUCET committee, which has submitted a report to the Ministry of Education. A decision on whether or not to have a common entrance exam for all central universities is still being made.

“The University of Delhi also believes that the health and safety of our students are of the highest importance,” he continued.
Gupta stated, "The University of Delhi looks forward to the CBSE's decision regarding the declaration of the results."

Once the Education Ministry publishes recommendations, Professor Sanjeev Singh, Joint Director of Delhi University's Computer Centre (DUCC), believes the university will likely admit students based on CUCET.

Under normal conditions, DU holds entrance exams to select students for nine undergraduate programs. The National Testing Agency is in charge of the tests (NTA).

The CBSE Board Class 12 Exam for 2021 has been canceled.

The government has chosen to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board exams in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi claiming that the move was made in the best interests of children and that the concern felt by students, parents, and instructors must be alleviated.

According to CISCE secretary Gerry Arathoon, the CISCE has decided to cancel Class 12 board examinations this year because of the COVID-19 scenario.
