The eligibility criteria for NICL AO Exam is set under the following parameters:- Nationality

NICL AO Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
To be eligibile for the exam, a candidate must be:- Citizen of India or,
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan or,
- A Tibetan Refugee who came in India before 1st January 1962 to settle here permanently or,
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam to settle here permanently.
NICL AO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age to be eligible for the exam. There is relaxation in age limit for candidates belonging to reserved category. The details are as follows:

NICL AO Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed graduation or post graduation from a recognised university or college. The minimum prescribed marks for the General category is 60% and for SC/ST candidates are 55% (in any degree) to be able to apply for the NICL AO recruitment.
