Candidate must be a citizen of
- India
- Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1960
- People belonging to Indian origin in India from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malavi, Jaire, and Ethiopia.
RSMSSB VDO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

The required educational qualifications for RSMSSB VDO Exam are as follows:
- Candidates must have possessed a degree in Graduation or its equivalent.
- DOEACC Level "O" certificate
OR
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPS)/Data Preparation & Computer Science (DPCS) certificate from National or State Council of Vocational Training
OR
Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application
OR
Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institute OR
Certification course in Rajasthan State Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University under the control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.
- Having thorough knowledge of Rajasthan Culture and understanding Hindi Language in Devnagri script.
