Only Indian citizens are eligible to appear for SPSC LDC Exam. Candidates must also have the necessary documents to prove their nationality.

Candidates between 18 to 40 years of age are eligible to apply for SPSC LDC Exam. There is relaxation in upper age limit given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

The required educational qualification to be eligible for SPSC LDC Exam are as follows:
- Must have qualified in the 12th Class
- Must also have a basic course in computer application and that too for 3 months
