TES (10+2) Enrty-45 Course : Notification, Eligibility, Important Dates

Indian Army every year recruits candidates under its TES Entry scheme to serve as officers in the Indian Army. It is a four year course at the end of which candiates are granted Permanent Commission in the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenants. Online applications for TES-45 Course, which will begin from July 2021, will start from 1st February, 2021. Eligible candidates can apply for the same on the official website on the Indian Army. The online application process will come to an end on 2nd March, 2021. ELIGIBILITY
Nationality Candidate should be an Indian citizen
Marital Status Unmarried Male Candidates can apply
Age Limit Candidate should not be below 16.5 years of age and should not be above 19.5 years of age on the first day of the month on which course is going to start
Educational Qualifications Candidates should have passed 10+2 Board Examinations or its equivalent with minimum aggregate of 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics 

HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates can apply for this entry scheme on the official website of the Indian Army from 10th February, 2021 onwards till 2nd March, 2021.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
  • Candidates are first shortlisted on the basis on a minimum percentage cut-off as decided by the Integrated HQ of MoD(Indian Army). In shortlisting candidates the decision of the Integrated HQ shall be final.
  • Shortlisted candidates are then called for their SSB Interview. They are informed about their centre allocation through email. The SSB Centres for this entry are Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopaland Kapurthala.
  • Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the SSB Interview which will have two stages. Candidates who are selected in Stage I will have to appear for rest of the tests/tasks which are conducted in Stage II over a period of 3-4 days.
  • Candidates who are selected after Stage II have to go through Medical Examination. Only those candidates who are medically fit as per the army standards will be finally recuited for training.

CUT-OFF

A minimum aggregate percentage is set as the cut-off level to send call letters to candidates for the SSB Interview. Every year this cut-off is different as decided by the officials. Previous cut-offs were as follows:

TES 38 85%
