UPSC Combined Agriculture Service Mains: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The candidate must have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years of age as of July 1, 2020. However, there will be an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/skill Players of classified sports/State Govt. employees. For the Physically Handicapped there are 15 years of age relaxation.
Educational Qualification: Below is the educational qualification for the post of Combined Agriculture service mains:

District Horticulture Officer Group-2, Grade-1 B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognized University
Principal Govt. food Science Training Center/food Processing Officer Group-2
  • B.Sc. in Chemistry/ Agriculture as a subject. OR
  • Master's Degree in Fruit, Vegetable. Or
  • M.Sc. Degree in Food Technology/Food Preservation
Senior Technical Assistant Group-A (Agronomy Branch) Master degree in agronomy from a recognized university.
Senior Technical Assistant Group-A (Botany Branch) Master's Degree in Botany from a recognized university.
Senior Technical Assistant Group-A (Plant Protection) Master Degree in Plant Protection from a recognized university
Senior Technical Assistant Group-A (Chemistry Branch) Master degree in chemistry from a recognized university
Senior Technical Assistant Group-A (Development Branch) Master degree in development Branch from Recognized university
