60% is the cutoff score for the Karnataka TET. Teachers who have passed the KTET Paper 1 are able to apply for teaching positions in the Primary Teacher Posts, which are for grades 1 through 5, whereas teachers who have passed the KTET Paper 2 are eligible to apply for teaching positions in the Class 6 through 8 range. Candidates who meet the requirements can apply to Karnataka government schools that are owned and run by the state government, local governments, aided, and unaided schools, taking into account the TET administered by the state government. According to NCTE Guidelines, the KARTET Certificate is valid for seven years following the TET examination.
