And love, hate, thought and cold do not matter because they are feelings and emotions of human beings. 

Q2. Give reasons for the following observation:
The smell of hot sizzling food reaches you several meters away, but to get the smell from cold food you have to go close.
A1. The particles of hot have more kinetic energy than the cold food. So, the rate of diffusion is more in hot food as compared to cold food. Thus , the smell of hot sizzling food reaches us from several meters away.

Q3. A diver is able to cut through water in a swimming pool. Which property of matter does this observation show?
A3. A diver has the ability to cut through water in a swimming pool. It shows that the particles of matter (water) have space between them and have less intermolecular force of attraction.
