Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SI (GD) in Delhi Police & SI (Executive) in CAPF exams once in a year. Students who are within 20 and 25 years of age, and have a graduation degree can apply for this post. Notification and calendar are released every year.

Strategy for Physical Fitness

The candidates are only selected if they perform well in all the four stages of SSC CPO Exam, i.e., Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Therefore, one cannot get selected for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police if the candidates are not physically and medically fit. Hence, it is always advisable that the candidates need to keep them physically and mentally fit through physical exercises to clear the physical and medical tests along with studying hard for other subjects.
