RRB Group D CBT Pattern
- A total of 100 questions are asked.
- Questions are objective in nature.
- The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
- Each question carries one mark.
- There is negative marking and 1/3 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.

RRB Group D: Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates who clear the CBT exam are called for the Physical Efficiency Test based on their scores and merit. The total number of candidates called for PET are three times the total number of vacancies announced in the official notification. The criteria for PET is as follows:
|Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down ; and
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
|Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
RRB Group D Document Verification
Candidates who qualify CBT and PET will be called for verification of their documents. The total number of candidates called for document verification will be twice the number of total vacancies.
