The two types of letters are asked in the SBI PO exam are Formal letters and Informal Letters.
The formal letter is usually written for official purposes. These letters are written to higher authorities to inform something or to seek permission. They follow a formal tone. Informal letters are written to family and friends. They are personal letters usually written to convey regards. They have a friendly and lighthearted tone.
