Agnipath Recruitment in 2022: How will Agniveers be chosen?
In 90 days, Agnipath recruitment rallies will begin, with approximately 46,000 soldiers being recruited under the scheme this year, including 40,000 vacancies for the Indian Army and 3,000 for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
When the Agniveers are freed after four years, they will be rewarded with high higher educational credits, lateral absorptions, and other bridging courses, in addition to the financial package.

What is the salary for the Agnipath Scheme?
The Seva Nidhi Contributory Package of the Agnipath Scheme requires troops to contribute 30% of their monthly emoluments, with the government matching that amount. The Agniveers will receive Rs. 11.7 lakh (plus interest) at the end of the four-year period, which would be tax-free.
Agniveers will earn nearly Rs. 1 crore in the event of death on duty, which includes the Seva Nidhi Package and the entire payment for the time they were unable to serve. They will receive Rs. 44 lakh in the event of disability, based on the percentage of disability.

Agnipath Scheme, according to Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, will ensure that Agniveers gain experience working on the Indian Navy's state-of-the-art warships, aircraft carriers, submarines, combat aircraft, IT systems, and the latest weaponry and sensors, as well as networked systems.

Youth between the ages of 17.5 and 21 will be recruited into the three Indian Armed Services under the Agnipath Scheme.
