The country is dealing with an outbreak of COVID-19, so this year's Republic Day celebrations on New Delhi's Rajpath will be low-key. The Republic Day parade will begin at 10 a.m. on January 26 due to a decision by the Defense Ministry. India has chosen not to welcome foreign leaders this year due to an increase in COVID-19 cases and the emergence of a new Omicron form.
Rafale, Jaguar, Mi-17, Sarang, Apache, Sukhoi, and Dakota aircraft will be on display, with approximately 75 aircraft in 15 different formations taking part in the annual fly-past that concludes the celebration.
