Answer: [B] Jammu and Kashmir Notes: The Jammu and Kashmir administration sanctioned to declare over 1000 kanals of land in Gulmarg and 354 kanals in Sonamarg areas of the Valley as “Strategic Areas”. The Corps Commander had requested to utilise this land for training requirements of the armed forces. The previous circular which required no-objection certificate (NOC) from J&K home department for acquisition of land in favour of armed forces, was withdrawn in 2020.
