what did Ashoka do to Reform it??
Ashoka also built safe roads, planted trees on both sides of the roads, built rest areas for travelers, dug wells, and built hospitals and schools. He facilitated and controlled foreign trade and boosted agriculture. He improved the irrigation and drainage system. Ashoka implemented major reforms that greatly helped farmers.
