Differentiate Between Coleoptile and coleorrhiza ?
Coleorhiza is a sheath-like shape connecting the coleoptile to the number one root, protecting the radicle in monocots even as the coleoptile is a pointed defensive sheath overlaying the rising shoot in monocots. While coleorhiza remains in the soil, coleoptile emerges out of the soil.
