Functions of the Testis: (a) They produce male gametes referred to as spermatozoa via way of means of the procedure of spermatogenesis. (b) The leydig cells of the seminiferous tubules secrete the male intercourse hormone known as testosterone. Testosterone aids the improvement of secondary intercourse traits in males. Functions of the ovary: (a) They produce lady gametes referred to as ova via way of means of the method of oogenesis. (b) The developing Graffian follicles secrete the woman intercourse hormone referred to as estrogen. Estrogen aids the improvement of secondary intercourse traits in females.
