Coelom is a fluid crammed area among the frame wall and digestive tract. The presence or absence of frame hollow space or coelom performs a completely critical function withinside the class of animals. Animals that own a fluid crammed hollow space among frame wall and digestive tract are called coelomates. Annelids, mollusks, arthropods, echinodermates, and chordates are examples of coelomates. On the opposite hand, the animals wherein the frame hollow space isn't covered by mesoderm are called pseudocoelomates. In such animals, mesoderm is scattered in among ectoderm and endoderm. Aschelminthes is an instance of pseudocoelomates. In positive animals, the frame hollow space is absent. They are called acoelomates. An instance of acoelomates is platyhelminthes.
