Blood vessels, nerves and muscles all have loose wrappings of connective tissue. Beneath the skin, they form the subcutaneous layer along with adipose tissues, connecting muscles and other structures to the skin. Fibroblast cells and fibers are compactly wrapped within the thick connective tissue.
