Option 1) Fluorine is the most reactive element and reacts with hydrogen gas to hydrogen fluoride. A high amount of energy is required to break the bond between hydrogen and fluorine due to less bond length between the two atoms. Therefore, the bond dissociation energy decreases as we go down the group.
