What are the three types of RNA & Mention their role in Protein Synthesis?
There are three types of RNA : Messenger RNA (mRNA):- It is a single-stranded RNA that brings the genetic information of DNA transcribed on it for protein synthesis. Transfer RNA (tRNA):- It has a clover leaf-like structure that acts as an adapter a molecule that contains an “anticodon loop” on one end that reads the code on one hand &” an amino acid acceptor end that binds to the specific amino acid on the other hand. Ribosomal RNA (rRNA):- Ribosomes provide the site for the synthesis of protein & catalyze the formation of the peptide bond.
