In general, how the steroid hormones affect changes in their target cells?
Steroid hormones have minor differences, the various hormones have strikingly different functions. They bind to different receptors in the target cell and affect sets of chemical reactions. Cortical steroids can be grouped into three functional categories. Mineralocorticoids: They regulate saltwater balance through their effect on kidney and blood pressure.
