Cyclosporin A. It is an eleven-membered cyclic oligopeptide obtained through the fermentative activity of fungus Trichoderma Polysporum. Importance. It has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and immunosuppressive properties. It inhibits the activation of T-cells and therefore, prevents rejection reactions in organ transplantation.
