Free-living nitrogen-fixing bacteria Azotobacter and Bacillus Polymyxa Symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Rhizobium. These micro-organisms enrich the soil by fixing nitrogen. They enhance the availability of nutrients to crops, thus called biofertilizers.
