Some notable and advanced image editing software programs are Adobe InDesign, Autodesk Sketchbook, Adobe Lightroom, etc. For most of the contemporary image editing, I use Adobe software. Let’s compare Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Photoshop is used for editing photographs, video graphics, presentation-based designs, web-designs, etc. On the other hand, Illustrator is used by graphic designers to create graphics, logos, etc. Illustrator creates a result with good clarity and appearances; such a digital image can be used in any size. In Photoshop, one has to decide the resolution before starting to work on a new digital image. A graphic designer can get more creative with additional special effects compared to Illustrator.
