How can the different rules of composition be helpful in making an impactful visual composition?
A graphic designer while making a design for a website follows certain principles like ‘centre of interests’ and ‘user’s habits’ to attract the viewers. They consider the aesthetic appearance and the comfort of the reader. There is a saying that ‘the first impression is the best impression’ regardless of the content, most viewers first consider the visual impact the website has on them. If the visual effects on the website are pleasing then the viewer would venture to take a look at the content and services the website has to offer. Catching the interest on the first view is the target. Then visually guiding the viewer to first what is important then guide them to the secondary location is the purpose of the design. Once the viewer gets the hang of it, they would search for the information they need and the design and highlights would lead the viewer to their destination.
