What are the two major categories of Digital Images?
Images that are drawn or painted on paper using various ways of creation are called digital images. They are divided into two major categories: Raster Images and Vector Images. Raster images are images that are stored in a computer in the form of grids called pixels. When the image is stored in the form of mathematical description like lines, Bezier curves, text rather than pixels they are called Vector Images.
