What do you understand by warm and cool colour?
Colour constitutes the most essential component of visual experience. It helps in conveying messages and emotions. Each of the colours has their individual characteristic assigned to it. For instance red suggests passion, yellow suggests warmth, orange suggests creativity etc. Among all the classifications of colour, warm and cool colours are the simplest classification. All the different types of colours can be divided into two basic categories: warm colours and cool colours. In this classification, the warm colours are defined as aggressive and active while the cool colours are defined as passive and receding. The warm colours range from redish-violet hues while the cool colours range from yellowish-green.
