Which aerosols deplete ozone?
Explanation A suspension of fine solid particles or liquid droplets mixed with air present in the atmosphere or another gas is known as aerosol. There are two types of aerosols: natural or anthropogenic. Natural aerosols are fog, mist, dust, geyser steams and forest exudates. Anthropogenic aerosols are particulate air pollutants and smoke. Aerosols that increase the depletion of ozone are freons or chlorofluorocarbons. It is mainly released from cooling machines. Freons molecules break down in the manifestation of ultraviolet radiations and form chlorine-free radicals that by combining with ozone form oxygen.
