Describe the general characteristics of gymnosperms.
Some of the general characteristics of gymnosperms are: (A) Erect ,aerial branched or unbranched stem is present. (B) Dimorphic leaves are usually present ie. Two types of leaves are present on a plant. (C) Seeds of the plants are naked. (D) Both male and female reproductive organs are compactly arranged around the central axis to form the male cone and female cone respectively.
