After the end of Cold-War there were following significant changes which took place in Indo-China relations: Both countries have improved their relation not only in politics but also in the economic field also. Their relations now have a strategic as well as economic dimension. India and China have adopted international economic institution like the “World Trade Organisation’. Both governments have agreed to contain conflicts and maintain ‘peace and tranquillity’ on borders. China and India have also signed agreements on cultural exchange and co-operation in science and technology. They mutually opened four border posts for trade. Since 1999, Indo-China trade is growing 30% per year.
