Dead remains of two species A and B were buried. Later only A's body was found to be a fossil but not B's given reason.

Fossils are formed only when the dead parts are hard and get buried immediately without getting decomposed. In this case, A may have left its imprints as fossil while B may have decomposed and hence has not formed fossil.
