Mist is a thin fog resulting from condensation in the air near the earth’s surface. Mist refers to the tiny droplets of water suspended in the air. It occurs when warmer water in the air is rapidly cooled, causing it to change from invisible gas to tiny visible water droplets. Condensation is the process where water vapor becomes liquid. It is the reverse of evaporation, where liquid water becomes a vapor. Happens in two ways: Dew Point and Saturation. Condensation is the opposite of evaporation.
