Option A. Filariasis is a term for a group of diseases caused by the parasitic nematodes. Elephantiasis is the end result of this disease. The causative organism is Wucheraria Bancroft. Wuchereria bancrofti inhabits lymphatic vessels especially the lymph nodes of man and other vertebrates.usually occurs in lower extremities. Hence Wuchereria bancrofti is normally found in Lymphatic vessels of lower limbs in the human body.
