Which is the main difference between the Western and Eastern Ghats?
The Western Ghats runs parallel to the western coast in a north-south path from the Tapi River to Kanyakumari. But the Eastern Ghats runs in a north-east to a south-west route parallel to the jap coast from Orissa to the Nilgiri hills. Western Ghat's average width is 50 to 80 km.
