By whom was the life cycle of Plasmodium in mosquito discovered?
On 20 August 1897, in Secunderabad, Ross made his landmark discovery. While dissecting the belly tissue of an anopheline mosquito fed 4 days formerly on a malarious patient, he discovered the malaria parasite and went directly to show the position of Anopheles mosquitoes withinside the transmission of malaria parasites in humans.
