Option B.DNA fingerprinting is the method of isolating, amplifying and imaging the DNA fragments to make a DNA profile. VNTR (Variable number of tandem repeats) are the region or segments in the DNA which contains the nucleotide repeats. These repeats are specific for every individual. These repeats are present in all the individuals but the number and the arrangement of the repeats are different for every individual. This forms the basis of the DNA fingerprinting technique to search for individuals on the basis of the VNTRs
