How many species of rhinoceros are there?
There are 5 species of rhinoceros in the world today. They are the Sumatran, Javan, Indian, white and black rhinoceros. The white and black rhinoceros are found in Africa, whilst the others stay in Asia. All rhinos have thick skin with folds. They have short, thick legs and a tiny tail. They are solitary animals that come together solely in the course of the mating season.
