What was unique about the ankylosaurus?
The ankylosaurus own circle of relatives had been plant- consuming armoured dinosaurs that existed at some point of the Cretaceous period. But although those animals did now no longer devour meat, they may want to nevertheless be vicious. They had club-fashioned tails with spikes on the end, which they used to protect themselves. By swinging their heavy tails, an ankylosaurus may want to significantly injure any enemy that attempted to assault it.
