What is Minimalism?
In the 1950s, Frank Stella of the United States painted white pinstripes on a black canvas and referred to as it The Marriage of Reason and Squalor. When requested what it meant, he said ‘What you see is what you see’. This style, wherein painted gadgets aren't a image for anything else, is Minimalism.
