Everything is product of atoms. At the centre of an atom is the nucleus made from protons and neutrons. An atom additionally has tiny electrons which spin across the nucleus. Electrons have a bad electric charge, and protons have a effective charge. The electrons don’t live in a single place. They move round to specific atoms, so a few atoms have extra protons, a few have greater electrons. An atom with extra protons is undoubtedly charged. One with extra electrons is negatively charged. When the electrons byskip from one atom to the next, it creates an electric powered current.
