Gautam Buddha was the founder of Buddhism. Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini in Nepal. He was attracted to spirituality since his childhood like Lord Mahavira. He left the palace where he lived in search of truth and knowledge. He attained salvation at his young age and got Nirvana at Bodhgaya. Buddhism came into being with him and continues to have many followers worldwide even today. Buddhism was founded by Gautam Buddha. He was born in 563 BC in Lumbini in Nepal.
