Tripitikas included the texts and writings which were written on long and narrow leaves, were bounded, and then were stored in baskets. These consisted of Vinay Pitaka, Sutta Pitaka, and Abhidhamma Pitaka. The Pitaka contains Buddha's lessons, his preaching, and also stories about the socio-economic life of people. The Tripitikas carry the essence of Buddhism and become an important source of knowing the history of ancient India. Tripitika were the most important literary works of Buddhists, it provided the information and knowledge about the economic, political and social life during the time of Buddhists.
