With reference to the Mughal rule, state briefly: (a) Akbar's policy towards the Rajputs.
Akbar attempted a few different ways to acquire the trust of the Rajputs. The Rajput ruler, Raja Bharmal was the first to build up a well-disposed connection with Akbar in 1562. His daughter, Harkha Bai (otherwise called Heer Kuwari, Jodha Bai and according to Mughal narrative her name was, Mariam-uz-zamani was married to Akbar. Akbar gave freedom to his Hindu spouses in religious matters and gave a highly respectable position to their folks. Most Rajput lords perceived Akbar's matchless quality and later on helped Akbar in growing and merging the Mughal realm. To mitigate the psyche of the zamindars, Akbar went into a marital alliance with them. In course of time, The Rajputs were acting as a hindrance in his compatibility of strategy against the Hindus. The shared relations of the Mughals and the Rajputs have an incredible significance throughout the entire existence of the Mughal time frame. Akbar gave complete religious freedom to his Hindu spouse and gave an honored place to their parents and relations in the nobility, he gave high posts to Rajputs in his empire.
