Why was Bastille Prison attacked?
The Bastille Prison was attacked on the morning of 14th July 1789. The troops were given the order to move inside the city of Paris and then open fire upon the masses. The masses decided to form a people's army and marched to the Bastille where the attack was executed. The Bastille Prison was attacked so that the required ammunition for the French Revolution can be found.
