The International Military Tribunal’s role was: Nuremberg trials, also known as International Military Tribunal was to trial Nazi German leaders for crimes against humanity. It aimed to punish the major war criminals who committed a war crime in World War 2. Eleven countries provided judges and lawyers as prosecutors for the court. It aimed to punish all war crimes committed in the war such as the Holocaust, etc.
