State the reasons for setting up an International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg.
International Military Tribunal was set up to punish all those who committed war crimes in world war 2, and Nuremberg was selected as it was a place of huge celebrations of victory for the Nazi Party so it was a place of symbolic defeat.
