Differentiate between the followings: (c) Template strand and Coding strand
The main differences between a coding and a template strand are:- The template strands are also called as the negative strands or anti-sense strands but the coding strands are also called as the positive strands or sense strands. The template strands are not composed of codons but on the other hand, the coding strands are mainly composed of codons. The strands which are not utilized as template during RNA transcription are the coding strands but the template strands are the ones that are being utilized in RNA transcription as templates.
